I'm rather impressed with myself right now.
It's late Friday night (early Saturday morning, actually), and I am participating in Art on State Street in Redlands on Sunday afternoon -- and, I am completely prepared. The only thing that has to be done is to load the car and drive to the event.
The soap is all wrapped and labeled; the body cream has been shrink wrapped. I'm completely ready to go. Usually, I'm up late into the night right before these kind of events, fiddling with little details.
This means I'll be well-rested and relaxed, and ready to engage with the people who stop by my tent. In fact, I'm really looking forward to meeting new people and seeing previous customers again.
I'll be debuting a few new products: Luxurious men's soap, like the one above. Thick and rich nourishing body cream. And relaxing eye pillows. I'm especially excited about the eye pillows! The shams are made of vintage Chinese satin that is from dresses my dear mother-in-law had made in Hong Kong in the early 1960s. When I have good lighting, I'll take a picture to share with you. I can't wait for you to see them!
If you're in the Redlands area, please plan to stop by and say 'Hello.' I'll be set up somewhere between 5th and 6th Streets, on State Street, from Noon to 6:00 PM.
I'm looking forward to seeing you there!
